Horn and Violin!

We had a request a while ago for pony music arranged for the violin or French horn. Well, Teslahead came through big time, with three versions of the Title Theme—one for violin, one for horn, and a duet of both instruments together.

If you play violin or horn, or know someone who does, then you should check out this sheet music! Here's the violin arrangement, the horn arrangement, and the duet.

Many thanks to Teslahead for responding to this request!

  1. Hayos, I found this site by chance only recently and already linked it to Brony groups on facebook.
Anyway, in regards to the Violin version of the songs, is there anyway I can ask for a Violin variation to 'Hush Now Quiet Now'?
I know the Piano sheet music is great for learning that but I am only new and can be easily confused. What's more is I don't yet bare the skill to learn by ear.
I know this is a selfish request but I truly wish to make this my first tune for my Violin.
Please help, though I would understand if no one does.

    1. I would be more than honored to do this request (and am even more honored that Ruby Rose recommended me personally). What i ask is if you want the a complete relaxing feel or the whole shebang( both Fluttershy and SweetieBell parts).

    4. To be honest I am aiming for the relaxed Fluttershy style but would be more then happy with either one. So simply pick whichever appeals the most to you, lol.

Thank you, it means a lot to have this done.

(I can't believe I deleted two posts and they were the exact same as this.) :/
As I said I am aiming for Fluttershy's relaxed feeling but my question is would that include the bit SweetyBell sung in a relaxed style or just the section fluttershy sang?
Sorry for asking such a question but I want to be 100% sure we're on the same page, as the saying goes.
Thank you and sorry for the annoyance.

  2. Edanite - I can pass your request along to Teslahead if he doesn't see it here. He has been happy to do requests in the past, so I think he would do this one if he's able.

    Glad you're liking the site!

    1. Thank you. I truly appreciate this.

Lol, I'm enjoying the site. So far I mentioned your site on 4 Bronie groups over on facebook and left a few links over on a YuGiOh! Bronie Team tread on Pojo, lol.

I like the layout of this site as it is simple to navigate and enjoy the fact that some of the music sheets come with example videos to show others what to expect.

All in all I'm glad I stumbled in here and I'm glad you took my selfish request so willingly.

      Thank you.

    2. Edanite, thanks for your kind words! Candy Coda, a member of the team, did the site design, so I'm sure he'll be glad to hear that the design is working well.

  3. Thank you so much Teslahead! I play both of these and have been wanting to play music from MLP:FiM every since I found out about this site. Now that the intro theme is here, I am going to perfect it as soon as possible on Violin and French Horn, and if possible I can get with a friend to play the duet. When finished, I will send a video of each in. Once again thank you so much!

    1. You're very welcome, I don't normally play violin (not since about 5th grade) and was not sure whether I made the part too difficult in turns of switching strings. I was also not sure whether I made the Horn part too high. Glad to know I made someones day!!!

    2. In regards to the violin, the string switching isn't too bad, I have been playing for nearly four years now and find switching strings relativity(?) easy. The horn part is probably as high as you want to go with it right at the end with the high F, but I am learning a high G at the moment, so I can get up their. I will be making a video of me and a fellow bronie at school playing the duet, but there will be a few weeks delay on that, as we have work experience next week, and two weeks holiday then in which he is going to Philip Island. (Victoria, Australia for those who don't know.) But thanks once again and will send in the videos as soon as I perfect them. Thanks!

  4. I feel like I may have put my post in an awkward place and because of that you may have missed it Tesalhead.
I apologize and will answer your question here.
Please do as you please for the song, I appreciate you taking your time to do this request and thank you deeply.
    Thank you.

    1. I did see you're post in the middle and did what I thought would be best.
You're song will arrive in due time, but for now, look at the Flute part, Violins and Flutes are both C instruments so no transposing is needed. I am however aware that most Violinists are not a fan of flats, but remember your inharmonious and you should have a relaxing piece, free from stress.

    2. Thank you. I am very new to instruments in general so I'm very unsure of a lot of things.
What you told me just now is very helpful. Thank you.
Also, I apologize. I am knew to requesting such things and I tend to be overly formal and annoying. Anyway.
Thank you again, I'll be eagerly waiting, lol. So please take your time. :)
      Thanks again.
