This sounds pretty neat on the ukulele without any changes: https://rapidshare.com/files/1679406750/hush_now.mp3
ReplyDeleteToo bad it's above my vocal range.
@buxton I love it! The ukulele is such a fun instrument. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLol thats why I came here was to learn it on ukulele. Anyways, I think there might be a key change between Fluttershy's part and Sweetie Belle's. I may be wrong, I'm not a vocalist so its hard to catch keys listening to the video. But I can tell that she sings lower. Again I may be wrong and I probably am, just curious more than anything. Btw, I am so glad this site exists for this great music.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts about this. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the key is the same.
When Sweetie Bell starts singing, the song starts hitting notes in the blues scale. It changes the feel of the music, but not necessarily the key.
There is definitely a key change, however, when Sweetie Bell sings the chorus the last time.
Thanks again for your comment!
Hey um... I just made some tabs for Sweetie Belle's Vocals... mind if I post 'em?
ReplyDeleteAlec, please feel free to post the tabs. I'm sure folks would enjoy seeing them! If ya like, I can also make a link to them on the site via the newsfeed and music page.
ReplyDeleteOkay thanks! I'll start posting and will comment the link here... I have several versions, I'll post 3 versions if you don't mind :D
ReplyDeleteHey! I managed to complete the tablature. It's only one version with a alternate one. It's quite simple, I learnt it within 3 days. Hope this helps. Really appreciate if you link 'em. It's a Google Doc. If there's something wrong, ask me :) thanks!

Alec, I'll definitely post them up. Should I attribute the tabs to Alec, or is there a different name you would like to use?
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing!
I made an account on Dash Network, just attribute the tabs to Gamerbr768.
ReplyDeleteI believe that at the end of the song it goes to either a high F or and F# on the 7th fret (779997)
ReplyDeleteI cant play it that's for sure... I am terrible at any instrument...
